at the top of the chiefCatherine Young is a Personal Fitness Trainer and Lifestyle Coach who lives and operates in Vancouver, B.C., Canada. A former soccer athlete, she found herself off the competitive playing field after a severe knee injury. Post-rehabilitation, she began leading and developing soccer camps for youth, and found a new passion in coaching. Always striving to move, Cat is continually educating herself to provide the most recent knowledge and apply the most current practices available.

Cat believes that optimum health begins with education. She has a passion for coaching, fitness & nutrition, and has worked with all ages and lifestyles.  An advocate for health and the importance of movement, she is working to create a healthier future for all. Cat has developed youth sports programs, day-camp & playground programs; and currently works one-on-one with individuals as well as in bootcamp, workshop, & corporate settings; and with elite athletes, teams & events. Cat is continually furthering her education through Certifications and University courses to provide the most recent knowledge and current practices in innovative formats.

Cat’s philosophy is that no matter where a person is starting from – it is just that, a starting point, or a benchmark – and it is all about the commitment one is willing to make to themselves as to how far it is possible to go. She notes that once people start, they never look back, and are often astounded with what they have accomplished.
